Paamul

Paamul is a small, quiet bay on the Riviera Maya, between Playa del Carmen and Puerto Aventuras, about an hour south of Cancun. Its white-sand beach is lined with palm trees and palapas, and sea turtles nest here in summer.

These photos show the beach and its iguanas, the small hotel and its pool, and the reef-protected shore that is good for snorkeling. Nearby you can swim with turtles in Akumal or sail from the marina of Puerto Aventuras.
