We are a married couple. We went to Desire to celebrate his 50th birthday and our 11th wedding anniversary. This was a great trip. We started by requesting a change to our room. We were originally in a room designed for guests who may have had limited mobility. The room was a bit small and overlooked the access road to the resort. We requested a change and were moved the next day.

The replacement room overlooked the very well-manicured grounds and had a terrace which we shared with our next door neighbors. It was a welcome change and we enjoyed the balance of our stay in this room.

My wife hates to read reviews that are long-winded so I will get to the point. If you want great service, a sexy and romantic atmosphere (the resort being all-couples makes this possible) , good food (the buffets are very good, the restaurants have good food and excellent service) then Desire is for you. The drinks at the bars were of varying quality. Leonardo, who was our bartender at the jacuzzi bar, made excellent drinks and put on a good show while making them. Leonardo was courteous, friendly and welcoming. All of the staff we encountered was professional and worked to make our stay a pleasure.

The entertainment staff put together a great experience with the "Eyes Wide Shut" party. This was one of the highlights of the week. More thought should be put into how these kinds of actvities could happen more regularly at the resort. The live entertainment was about cruise ship level and the music in the nightclub was a bit limited in terms of selection. There is a true party atmophere in the nightclub. There are three poles for exotic dancing and they were used to their fullest potential.

That's it! We recommend going to Desire. It is a great location and and even better time.
