Me Melia practices what it preaches. We picked this hotel for our honeymoon and i must confess i have never felt so pampered. The views are mesmerizing, the staff curteous and extremely helpful, attentive and all good looking. Custom art and furnishings by artist Yuri Zatarain look so lovely, the interior lightings work magic, privacy is guaranteed and essential luxuries like monsoon showers and Aveda bath amenities available. Me Melia seeks to please and it does just that. We were welcomed with a glass of sparkling champagne, our bags moved with no stress, room service available 24 hrs. I strongly recommend this hotel as a honeymoon destination and although there are many great hotels in cancun all with wonderful people...ME Melia must surely rank at the top

When you first pull into Me by Melia your greeted with open arms. The staff was wonderful they made us feel very welcome. The first full day there we spent at the pool which was not crowded, the music was nice it was mostly trip hop with slow under tones that is very relaxing. Barely any children which was nice. You can just leave your things at the pool and just go to the beach or the infinity pool which is an adult pool that overlooks the ocean. The beds are great to lay out on to get some sun. The staff was great at the pool, they always made sure you had everything at your finger tips, wether it was an umbrella, or a drink, or food. The beach house swim up bar has great food to eat when you want a snack. The maid service was great always a clean room and the hotel was spotless at all times. You do have to upgrade if you want a balcony room, but I highly suggest upgrading to atleast an ocean view room, because when you open the windows up and hear the waves crash on the shore at night and smell the ocean air its wonderful. There is a lot of neet art throughout the hotel with a very modern feel to it with the drapes that's flow throughout the hotel especially when you come and go from the pool. Tons of cool furniture that begs you to lay down EVERWHERE. We never tried Salt/Silk for breakfast or any meals just the beach house for a snack or drinks. If anybody says the beaches are washed out from the hurricanes they are blind because the water a blue and the beaches were powdery white. The rooms were a bit small and the walls are a lttile thin but the entire hotel made up for it with a wonderful staff and a great feel. Its located to a lot of great shopping and personally located in the best part of Cancun by far. La Isla Plaza is about a five minute walk to so many great stores. I'm a manager in retail and have been for 10 years now and I'm a super stickler about customer service and I couldn't find a single thing that's wasn't perfect about Me by Melia. Keep in mind it fits the 18 to 35 demographic that likes to party but it was peaveful there it was truly Paradise. So in closing I would highly recommend this hotel. Me is the place to be. One more thing just in case I can't rate it in the food department Chocko's and Terre's is a small dive in the party district that has the best food in Cancun by far we ate a little bit of everything and kept going to back to Chocko's fair prices and amazing food A++++++++.
