We were a group of 18 people visiting the Sandos Playa Car Beach Resort in early September this year. The facilities at Sandos were extremely beautiful, very clean and well maintained. The hotel staff was very courteous, attentive and polite. Everyone from the general manager Mr. Vito to the front desk manager Mr Casanova to Rosa, to Tila to the bartenders, the waiters and waitress were on call and made sure that our stay was nothing but a very pleasant one. Sandos made our trip both relaxing and enjoyable by catering to the needs of every member of our group. Ample food by day and night - We ate at both the buffet and ala carte restaurants and each one of them had a wide variety of dishes and above par service. The French restaurant Le Gourmet and the Steakhouse were excellent. The maitre de Caesar was superb. Being a large group we were seated on time and well accommodated. The alcohol was flowing and the service was timely. We ordered in room service numerous times and were never disappointed. A room with a view - The rooms were very clean overlooking the beach and the pool. The resort provided free kayaks, catamarans and bike rentals. Plenty of entertainment for the kids and adults alike. Chris did a fine job in teaching us merengue and heading the beach volley ball team. The Night club was fun with a wide variety of music and alcohol. I would most definitely recommend Sandos and visit there time after time. We all had a wonderful time at this hassle free resort with a beautiful beach and impeccable service.
