of us travelled to mexico and after reading
some of the bad reviews i was a bit worried
but as my fella says a holiday is what you
make it! people have complained on here
about the beach and about the golf carts
seriously the beah yes has sea weed along it
but errrrrr its the bloody sea and yes the
resort is massive there are 8 buildings but
in a beautiful country beautiful
surroundings why would you want to get a
ride why not walk and enjoy it... we did use
the buggies sometimes but only if they were
passing they are up and down reguary through
the day and nught the workers here dont stop
and remember they dont get paid loads its
like $4 for an 8 hour shift so be greatful!!
We did not venture out too much we did
however go to Xcaret which is a massive park
about half an hour away with absolutly loads
to do! U must swim with dolphins if ur there
its an amazing experience! The food at the
hotel is great book the restaurants a day in
advance just to make sure you get in and if
they are full do not worry because the
buffet is just as good... lobster, steak,
king prawns, salmon all at a buffet!! if you
are travelling woth thomas cook you dont
need to pay for room service its all part of
the all inclusive deal, the mini bar in the
room is all included so drinks from there
are unlimited! There is a swing bar on the
beach and the guys that work there are
really friendly (especially Gamo) For guys
to book your trips with speak to Diego Roma
who works on the little hut next to the
pool(say hi to him from Lee and Sarah) the
crazy English lot! Great guy and will do his
upmost to get u a good deal! My boyfriend
celebrated his bday while we where there and
went to coco bongos with his mates (organised
by diego) He came back and said it was the
most amazing place ever its a club but they
have entertainers there very very good!!
Carlos another member of the entertainent
team was really nice! really have no faults
about this hotel rooms amazing pool lovely
beach great sea beautiful people just cant
do enough for you! there are quite a few
mosquitos tho so do bring repellent and anti
itch cream (i actually feel really silly
writing this as my only worry) We would
definatly go back to Blue bay and so would
the other 4 we travelled with! Dont worry
about the bad reviews on here the people
that have put them are obviously just picky
and I personally think they complain about
where ever they go! Go and enjoy blue bay
