El
Dorado Seaside Suites, that is. It is the newest addition to our
portfolio of luxurious gourmet-inclusive resorts. And if it seems slightly
familiar, that’s expected. You may have known it as El Dorado Resort. We
took a well known and well liked property and transformed it quite
extensively, while maintaining it’s friendly beachfront spirit. Seaside
Suites is not just a remodeled hotel. We completely upgraded it, changed it
and created an entirely new resort. The outcome: El Dorado Seaside Suites,
an upscale all-inclusive boutique resort only for adults.
The
Cuisine is superb. Following the trend from our sister resort, El Dorado
Royale, we have implemented our signature Gourmet Inclusive concept here as
well. There is a variety of options, none of which includes buffet lines as
all restaurants serve a’ la Carte only. They do include authentic Mexican,
Asian, as well as International cuisine with a daily changing menu. The bars
maintained the famous swings, but were transformed to reflect the overall
experience of the resort. A new lounge beckons with cool music and even
cooler drinks.
All rooms are smoke free friendly.
All 133 rooms are suites, with lovely décor and romantic four post beds and
all are just a few steps from the beach. Beach beds line the shore. The 24-hour
room service is included, of course. As are the beverages and many other
activities, amenities, and services.
Down here you may walk a mile of beach and not leave the resort. You may be
relaxed and elegant all at once. At El Dorado Seaside Suites you may enjoy
the atmosphere of a boutique hotel, and still have it all (-inclusive).
El Dorado Seaside Suites is waiting for you in the heart of the Riviera
Maya. It is located on the secluded beach of Kantenah, just about 45 Minutes
south of Cancun Airport and 25 minutes south of Playa del Carmen.

Dining & Lounging
A variety of options awaits. None, however includes buffet lines. All three
restaurants serve a’ la Carte only.
Arrecifes Restaurant
Arrecifes serves international cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner as
well as snacks throughout the day. It has a daily changing chef’s menu.
Continental breakfast is served from 06:00 AM to 07:00 AM and 10:30 AM to
11:30 AM. A’ la Carte breakfast is served from 07:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A’ la
Carte lunch and specialty dinner are served from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM and
from 05:30 PM to 10:30 PM, respectively.
La Carreta Restaurant
La Carreta prepares authentic Mexican fare. From traditional Mexican
favorites such as Tacos, Enchiladas and Steak Arrachera to more exotic
dishes such as Huitlacoche and Nopales, La Carreta is always a great choice
for dinner. Reservations are required, but the restaurant has a beautiful
new bar – La Cantina- with a selection of International brands and
exceptional Margaritas. Due to popular demand, reservations are required.
But there are several seating times between 5:30 PM and 10 PM.
Klay Talay Restaurant
Klay Talay is Thai and means “by the seaside.” Quite fitting for a sea view
Asian restaurant. It blends a variety of Asian styles into a fine fusion of
Oriental cuisine. It is open for dinner between 5:30 PM and 10 PM.
Reservations are required.
The Bars
The bars include The Snack Bar, serving snacks at different times of day and
night. Las Guacamayas is our famos bar with swings. Located next to Los
Arrecifes, it is the perfect place to hang out with friends after a long day
of exhausting beach activities. It opens from 10:00 AM to 2:00 AM.
The Arrecifes swim-up bar is a lively pool bar, great for enjoying all kinds
of drinks while staying cool in the pool. It opens from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Los Cotorros is another bar with swings. It opens from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
La Cantina is our signature Tequila bar with a wide selection of Tequilas
and other premium drinks. It is located inside the La Carreta restaurant and
is open from 05:30 PM to 11:00 PM.
In the afternoon, between 4:00 and 6:00 PM we also have Tea Time an
afternoon tea, coffee and pastries service at the Guacamayas Bar.
The Lounge
The Guacamayas Lounge is a contemporary seaside lounge with a great
atmosphere and cool music, offering soothing views of the sea. You may sit
or recline in one of the lounge cabanas and drift off under the stars and
the coconut trees. Enjoy it between the cool hours of 10:00 PM and 2:00 AM.

The 24 hour room service menu includes a wide range of popular dishes.
