Comments & Reviews about The Westin Resort and Spa Cancun : We spent 5 nights at this property on a whim - we looked and looked on the internet for a great price at a Cancun hotel...so glad this is where we landed. The rooms are good - the mattress is awesome. The Westin has the very best beach in Cancun. There are lovely pools and the sand and surf were perfect, It is truly as beautiful as the pictures. Since it's down the beach towards the end - there are few distractors trying to sell goods, and the available seats and chairs give you the opportunity to sit solo for the entire day. Everywhere there are seats and nooks and the service is great. The spa was grand - ask for a 'heavenly' massage by Juan Carlos and your life will never be the same. Food was fine - literally the Royal Beach Club breakfast and complimentary appetizers and happy hour make it affordable if you're on a shoestring. If you're not, go to Lorinzillo's Lobster House in town and try the delicious (more pricy) fare - wow! Take the bus (65 cents). Really, I think this was the best laid back vacation we've ever had. We rested, laid in the sun and enjoyed the property. They encouraged us to look at the new Westin property - but no need. This is a great place to stay in Cancun. Trust me, that's why I'm writing this review - I was so confused by the array of comments I found when researching. Hope this helps you to find your way to the Westin Resort in Cancun.
