Staggered engines bring the propellers closer together and keep the center
of gravity down low along the keel, where it works best. Power, which is
twin 900 SC's will easily raise the speedometer well into the triple digits
at 110+ MPH.
Outstanding performance in all types of conditions set the 42 Lightning
apart from all others. Our spacious cabin design features an enclosed head,
overnight sleeping accommodations and a galley with integrated cooler and
pressurized sink. Extras, such as an integrated anchor locker with anchor,
drop-down bolster seats, a full-frame wraparound windshield and a Bimini top
with front and side enclosures make this one of the most comfortable racers
on the water. The 42 rules the top offshore v bottom classes and owns all of
the world speed records. If unbridled performance is in your future the 42
